I think many of you don't know what's Blythe right?
Or maybe some of you have see the Blytheye contact lens before?
Or the clothes of Blythe Zoo?
But my Blythe is not both of this! My Blythe is a doll, as you can see it on my blog header!Photobucket That's my first Neo Blythe doll, I named it as Rainy. She's the Neo Blythe Rainy Day Parade. I got a few Petite Blythe too. Still remember my first & second Petite Blythe dolls are my 14th birthday present from my schoolmates! Love them!Photobucket
About Blythe:
Manufactured by Kenner in 1972, the original Blythe (now known as "vintage") was produced for only one year and then was retired because of poor sales.
For 28 years, Blythe was a curiosity that only doll collectors were interested in.
Then, in late 2000, she made her comeback in Japan when CWC produced a charming TV commercial for Parco department store starring Blythe. After the TV spotlight she became an overnight sensation in Japan and Asia. In June 2001, to meet the popular demand of this new Blythe fanbase, CWC produced an 11 inch neo-Blythe doll, Parco Limited Edition, with the permission of Hasbro and the manufacturing help of Takara. Since that launch, 62 and still counting! editions of neo-Blythe dolls have been produced. A year later, a 4 1/2 inch version of the Neo-Blythe was invented, titled "Petite Blythe" and affectionately called "Pucci". By the spring of 2006, there have been 100 and still counting! editions of the Petite Blythe doll produced. Nowadays, Blythe's photogenic style can also be found gracing countless accessories and stationary goods the world over.

Neo Blythe is about 28cm tall, with an oversized head and large eyes that change color with the pull of a string. Petite Blythe is about 11.2cm tall, have moveable eyelids and bendable bodies. And now, a new Blythe called "Middie Blythe" will be joining her sisters, Neo and Petite Blythe!Photobucket She is called “Middie” because her size is in between Neo and Petite. Her features are more childish than Neo but more mature than Petite. Middie Blythe can move her head and eyes to left to right for more expression!Photobucket Different Blythe got different prices. For Neo Blythe, the prices are about MYR300 to more than MYR1,000. For Petite Blythe, the prices are about MYR90 to more than MYR150. Middie Blythe I still don't know yet, M'sia haven't sell it.Photobucket
